WORSHIP AT METRO PARK

We are excited to announce that MALU is once again hosting the 5 th Annual Family Gathering! This gathering includes worship, FREE food, fun and fellowship! (There is a $10 entrance/parking fee – please see Pastor Jim if this is a problem) Everyone is invited and there will be something for all ages. So, we hope you will join us for Worship TODAY Sunday, September 24th at Lake St. Clair Metro Park, 31300 Metro Pkwy, Harrison Twp, Shelter Par 3. All Southeast Michigan Church of God’s are invited to come together. Worship will be at 11:00 a.m. with Food at Noon and Fellowship to continue into the afternoon! The event is centered around “Building The Beloved Community.” The phrase “beloved community” was coined by Dr. Martin Luther King and is used to achieve unity through brotherhood and fellowship. By bringing together God’s family, we can turn the 11 o’clock hour from the most divided hour in America into a critical mass of people devoted to Jesus’ prayer in John 17 for complete unity as one body. The world needs to see witness of our love for each other and our faith in Him. We encourage you to attend this Worship with our sister churches to help build the connections in God’s church. We will NOT have our normal worship at 11 a.m. at Bethany so that we can be a part of the bigger church community. There will still be the 9:15 a.m. service here for our online outreach and community.
